The Rural School and Community Trust: Policy--School Size, Poverty, and Achievement
New research shows that Texas smaller schools reduce the harmful effects of poverty on student achievement and help students from less affluent communities narrow the academic achievement gap(as measured by state sanctioned standardized tests) between them and students from wealthier communities.
